Microneedling
Microneedling & Mesotherapy
Microneedling, is a minimally invasive dermal procedure that involves the use of a medical grade device with fine needles to create tiny, controlled punctures (micro-injuries) in the skins surface. This process triggers the release of growth factors and cytokines, stimulating the skins natural ability to repair itself by producing more collagen and elastin, resulting in younger-looking skin.
In addition, microneedling promotes neo-vascularization or the formation of new blood vessels. This process enhances blood supply to the treated area, improving nutrient delivery and supporting the healing process. Increased vascularity contributes to healthier, more vibrant skin and improves the healing of scars and other skin lesions.
Microneedling and Mesotherapy are suitable to treat:
- Hair loss
- Scars from acne or other causes
- Comedonal acne (black heads)
- Wrinkles
- Rosacea
- Stretch marks
- Loss of skin volume
- Pigmentation
- Skin rejuvenation
- Increasing brightness and clarity
Mesotherapy is an advanced skin treatment that combines microneedling with the introduction of sterile actives such as vitamins, minerals, growth factors, biomimetic peptides and amino acids into the skin to target specific conditions. Mesotherapy microneedling is more effective than needling alone, giving more visible results after fewer treatments. Skin recovery after mesotherapy is faster due to the properties of the treatment serums, resulting in faster healing, shorter âdown timeâ and a narrower space between treatments, halving the time to achieve desired results.Â
We utilise one of the following active cocktails to target a patients main concerns which include:
Mesotox â This exciting new solution reduces and prevents the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It has been shown to prolong the results of anti wrinkle injections (used to treat wrinkles) and can actually prolong the effects of anti wrinkle injections over time. This is the perfect addition to any treatment regime.
Mesopeptide â This solution contains potent peptides and can be used to promote thickening of the dermis and results in firmer, tighter skin to make sure your concerns are completely targeted.
Depigmentation solution â A strong combination of active substances that whitens and corrects pigment and antioxidant changes. This formula inhibits tyrosinase and slows down melanin production, helping to brighten and even out skin tone. Active substances: Tranexamic acid, Nicotinamide, N-acetyl glucosamine, Vitamin C.
Photoageing solution â Minimises the signs of ageing as these active substances help fight against photodamage, add additional antioxidants and help repair moisture / firmness to the skin. Corrects the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promoting new collagen production. Active substances; Hyaluronic acid, Idebenon, Taurine, Vitamin C.
Skinmark solution â Targets stretch marks and scars and helps to improve their appearance. This solution stimulates cell repair and boosts healthy collagen synthesis to restore elasticity and firmness to the skin.
FAQs
How it works?
Microneedling encourages the increased production of collagen through controlled and evenly distributed wounding of the epidermis. The trauma purposely created on the surface of the skin activates collagen production, and over time new skin cells are created. The needles used on the skin are micro in size, meaning they create minuscule punctures with varied penetration levels depending on the area of focus.

What conditions can it treat?
The best part of microneedling is that it treats so many different skin concerns. Even more exciting, it can treat multiple skin concerns at once. These can include:Â
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scars
- Scars caused by injury
- Age (or sun) spots
- Large poresÂ
- Reduced skin elasticity
- Uneven skin tone
- Pigmentation.Â
What areas can it treat?
The best part of microneedling is that we can treat so many different areas if needed.
The face, neck, decolletage, hands, arms, stomach, back, buttocks and legs.
If you have skin laxity (loose skin) or scarring it can be treated too.
What happens after my treatment?
Immediate redness and warmth are expected, often described as a âsunburntâ feeling for 24â48 hours. Downtime is generally minimal; some people return to work the next day. Follow your aftercare precisely, avoid picking at dry/peeling skin, protect from sun, and pause active topicals (e.g., vitamin A) until advised.

What are the risks of treatment?
Common, temporary effects include sensitivity, redness, mild swelling, light flaking or crusting. Pinpoint bleeding can occur during treatment. Less common risks include grazing, pustules or infection. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation is uncommon and will be discussed in consultation; higher-risk skin types may require pigment-inhibiting prep.Â
Not suitable where topical anaesthetic is contraindicated (e.g., pregnancy/breastfeeding if anaesthetic is required), within 6 months of isotretinoin, with active infection/wounds or over active inflammatory acne lesions. Precautions apply for anticoagulants and smoking.
